Mother of 3 handsome boys, we lost our main man suddenly on April 27th, 2015. We are grace-filled believers that are a walking example of God's love. I teach 7th graders STEM and chase these boys to every sports field I can!

  1. Your well on your way…Jho! Keep up the good work and don’t become a computer junkie! Have to keep up with the workouts, keep your eye on the prize! And that would be 2010 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Queen of the Halfpipe, the Snowboarding Supermom!

  2. You made me cry today….and then the breastfeeding comment made me laugh. EWWW! You can write in your journal once a day and still do your workouts and become the next Olympian!!

  3. HOLY CRAP THAT WAS GOOD! What a great way of saying all of that junk that happened…that really seemed like junk…but doesn’t really anymore. We are better people because of all of it! Love you!!!

  4. Love the parenting test! We have several friends who are childless by choice…I don’t know if this would reinforce their desire to remain childless or encourage them to join the club.

  6. I am cracking up! I am very proud of you for attempting the class. Maybe we should try dance again someday. We could be in another recital in our 40’s.

  7. I think that you truely are a changed person due to your experiences in Colorado. You really are a different person and understand more the people you can actually trust and that love you(mainly your husband). It will be the biggest blessing to have you back in our daily lives, especially for Kimberly.

  8. I chose to stay home because the people around me told me it was the ‘right’ thing to do… so I am sure I have sounded much like the woman you described. When I started working part-time it completely changed my attitude and made me realize that staying home may be right for some people… but not all… me being one of them. I love that there are some who do it and do it well… they have the hardest job ever!

  10. Jennifer, I loved this! I had the “chance” to stay home when my boys were young also, and it was the best time in my life. I call it the work out of the house women, because it seems your just as busy as if you worked outside the home. Stacey and I changed alot when we “moved” to Colorado early in our marriage. Like you family ties were to strong and we wanted it all. I’m glad you had your time away with just the men in your life. You will look back and appreciate every minute of it. I am glad your coming back to Ok, because we can continue to grow in our friendship. Of course, when I get back to Ok too!!

  11. To link, highlight the text you want to link and click on the little button at the top that has a globe and two little “chain links”. Then type or paste the address of the site you are linking.Clear as mud, right?Let me know if that makes no sense. It would be so much easier if I were standing over your shoulder.BTW – You need to get with your sis and let’s plan a girls’ night out!!

(3) Then press and hold “CTRL” while then pressing “C” That copies and holds the highlighted address in your computer’s memory.(4) Do what Supermom said(5) When you get to the linkie window, paste the address by pressing and holding, “CTRL” with “V”Does that work?

  14. Very well put!! It is one of those situations that throw you for a loop, but later find that it happened for a reason. And you and Tate starting school will take your mind off of so many things, and you can focus on the joy of his face after his first day of school. Good Luck and I’ll be thinking of you!!

  19. okay, i just typed the most amazing thing to you and i lost it. i’ll try again…the sentiment doesn’t change. i think you are truly the most amazing mother that i know. i don’t know how you have managed to have a real job (taking care of other people’s children) and be a mother to three boys at the same time. you have been a mother and worker for seven years and you handle it with grace and your children are precious reflections of both you and shane. i would not have survived a job outside the home and being a mom…i don’t know how you do it. i have not one negative thought ever of you, you are unbelievably one of the best friends of my life, and one of the best women i’ve ever known. i hope you get through today…i know you will…it’s your style…tears are good…i love you! liz

  22. Oh my…you are SO funny…I remember going to the store with my three girls when they were little. I would have GLADY paid $5 to not go inside on a cold or rainy day. Now if they would only send one of those nice kids home with the groceries to put them all away. =)

  23. Oh my gosh Jennifer…I laughed so hard at this post! Could you PLEASE give my mom a lesson on how to do this? I absolutely hate going to the grocery store with her because it’s always so chaotic and way over-dramatic. I think online grocery shopping might save her! : )She said she was going to come down to your room yesterday and didn’t make it…so probably Monday. Be prepared! LOL!!~Kim
